I will say this much: I struggle with florals. I keep painting them but I'm always super critical because my hand is often too heavy to get them right. This is the first attempt however and I'm determined to get that strong delicacy I found in the actual flower. The piece "Succulent White" (posted above) is one of my favorite florals and probably one of my few successes in this area.
