This is a preliminary painting in contemplation of a much larger pastel painting. This shot was taken last year during my annual birthday trip up to Fort Bragg, California. Watercolor is fun in that it is difficult to control what the pigment will do. An added bonus is that you can do what you want with color and if you can wing it it works.Glass Beach Study
