Where I am now. As I look at this series, I'm noticing that my contrasts are getting more extreme. That's not a bad thing, in my opinion, because we are told that contrast generates attention. As I have said many many times before, I love painting events largely because of the experience.

Donna, I LOVE the more extreme contrasts. And you're making the shapes of the bodies bigger and more important vs. the negative space. It looks dramatic. Bueno!!

Thanks for your comments. I'm trying to focus on contrast and values a lot more. It think that makes the work a bit more interesting to look at.
