Downtown Hopland

Great food served here especially on New Years Day on the way home from the Mendocino coast. I hope everyone has a fruitful and happy new year.

The Tunnel

We usually go through this tunnel to get to Point Richmond. I always enjoy the light at the end of the tunnel. I used Arches rough textured paper and worked from a photo. The initial drawing was in ink which was covered with the watercolor.

Morning Commute Review 2

He has gotten up from the fire hydrant to hold his cup out. Another downtown San Francisco street corner. An observation: I paint corners a lot.

This one is done. I liked that corner. The body language was rich. Plus I love using reds and oranges.

Guitar Man (Show Announcements)

This piece was juried into the "Art Beats" show at Austin Art Space. The theme of the show is music in celebration of South by Southwest. We will have a gallery reception (party) on March 26th from 6:30 to 8:30 come on by if you are around. The show runs from March 9th to April 2.
