Butcher Trial Prosecution

This drawing is from the Butcher trial which is currently in its sentencing phase in the 403rd Judicial District Court. In the foreground you have the prosecution team and the background left is the victim. The court reporter is on the right back. The defendant was convicted of kidnapping this young lady when she was 9 years old. This is the retrial after a hung jury.

403rd II

Another painting from a sketch executed in the 403rd. I don't like the red in the hair and plan on removing it. I really wish my eyes were better. If they were, my images would have more of a likeness. One advantage: I don't have to squint to blur and image down to values. That's my real eyesight.

The Plea for Help

This was inspired by a sketch that I did while sitting yet again in the 403rd District Court. This guy was being sentenced and the person to the left of him is the lawyer.

The 403rd

This is the presiding judge of the 403rd Travis County Judicial district court. Some of my cases have landed in her court. This was done from one of my sketches of her while waiting on lawyers. I like the ink drawing under the watercolor. Its cartoonish but it appeals to me.
