This painting is smaller than the plein air sketch that I worked from which is 12 by 16 inches. We were back at our rediscovered beach for this painting. I've noticed that very few people interrupt me when I'm painting on site. I wonder why that is. It's nice not to have to divide my attention when painting however it's good to have people engaged with your work.
