The first time I painted this scene it won an award in the annual juried show hosted by the Austin Pastel Society. The painting also sold shortly afterwards. This is my second attempt at this scene. I think this is Napa Valley. The other painting was completed on a Wallis pastel surface and this one was done on black archival museum board.Another Caneros
