Rainy Day Blue

I recently purchased art spectrum pastel artist trading cards. This is one of my first pastel trading card paintings. I'm working on a larger piece with the middle car and this is a "midway thru the painting process" study.

Prepared for the Rain

This is one of my art trading card images. You can put a lot on a small piece of paper.

BART Station

BART Station in Richmond California.

Sketchbook

This is a watercolor sketch from my most recent plane ride. The guy to the left sat next to me during the flight and the person to the right was across the ail from me. When he woke up he was shocked to see the number of sketches I had completed.

On Display Pastel

Obviously this is a work in progress. I have an acrylic and watercolor version going too. Not enough time to paint with the day job and all.

Miniature Roses

Another trading card painting. The trading cards are great for studies and final paintings. This one is available. Contact me is you are interested.

The Genesis Series

The pastel in the middle is the most recent work in progress. This is the woman that I work with that reminds me of Kahlo. The first stab at the pastel is pretty interesting. The advantage here is that I had the model guide me thru the painting process. I'm still working on the pastel. The model approved of the others. I really did want to go back and change a few areas but if the model approves do not touch the work.
