During my last visit to San Francisco I had lunch at Little Joe's Italian restaurant. The guy with the papers is actually a homeless person selling the street news. This one is in the simmering stage.

Witness, Court Reporter and Lawyers

Another in my Tom Delay trial sketch series. This one has been sitting around waiting to be completed for a while. I worked on it a little more during my last shift at Austin Art Space. The witness was a lobbyist.

This is from my recent visit to Little City Coffeehouse downtown. I took a few photos and did some sketching while there. I think I will try working with oils for the larger piece.

Lime with Tea

This is a little practice painting I did for a larger painting. I was at an annual Christmas luncheon at Judges Hill here in Austin. The waitress had brought me lemon or lime for my tea. Of course I loved the shadows and colors. It screamed to be painted.
