This shot was taken in the theater district of Boston, MA. I think the cluster of three worked in the theather and the two girls were just walking by. The one on the left noticed me taking this photo.
The waves in Pacifica, California were very aggressive when I was there a couple of months ago. The surfers and fog were out in full force. This my first visit with this image. I decided to do a study in watercolor. Watercolor painting forces me to think in values before I even put paint to paper.

While on the beach in Pacifica, California this young man rode down on his horse. It was foggy, the horse was beautiful and the scene begged to be memorialized.

The attorney that offices next door to me recently took a trip to New York. I gave her two disposable cameras to use up for me. This is a study for a larger version. Kind of an exploratory piece. It interesting to see what she photographed and her perspective.

A number of my coworkers like to frequent a local eatery called Vivos for lunch. Each female customer is given a beautiful rose. This on came from the attorney that offices next door. I still want to work some more on it. I will post when finished.

I visited Pacifica, California recently. They have this nice marina with all kinds of food. I had a nice bowl of fish stew and crab cakes. Afterwards we walked along the marina. Fishermen were selling the days catch and going out for more fishing.
Finally stopped nitpicking this one. Its a depiction of the flowers blooming in a part of the botanical garden in Fort Bragg, California.

A few women that work with me always get nice flowers from their husbands, supervisors and/or partners. I always have a camera at hand to snag a shot for a future painting. This was an acrylic painting that I completed alla prima.
