Where Is The Case
When I finished this painting the first thought I had was "where is the case". Maybe its somewhere out of the scene in the shade.

I'm Staying Here
This painting sat in front of me for quite a while before I knew what it needed. When I posted the study, a Facebook friend posted "where are the cows?". The study didn't have cows nor did the larger piece. I found some cow images in a sketchbook and added them. Thanks for the suggestion Amy.

Shadow Music (study)
This little painting is a study for a larger piece. I photographed and painted this musician while I was in South Carolina a few years ago. He had on a shirt that advertised Crosby's Seafood (or something similar). This was the first time I spotted him. Later on he was playing in the park in front of the hotel I stayed in.
These are sketches of people waiting in court.

SEE Music
We were walking back from dinner and I saw this band with this lady in front of them. I took a quick photo. This is a rather tight painting I must admit. Maybe I will do a looser version of this image later. I think pastel would also do wonders for this scene. Another Charleston, South Carolina painting. That place has a certain magic to it. I really do need to get there just for the painting experience. I think this place was a gallery getting ready for an opening. I love the body language of the people in the scene.
