Eggplant Knife Painting

I haven't worked with the knife in a while. Palette knife that is.

A little image from my hometown. This shot was taken last year on a rainy day in late November. This is also in honor of Mother's day too. My mom crossed this street daily to get to my sister's house.

A Good Read

This is one of the bus stops at 12th and Lamar. A large variety of people can be seen at the bus stops at that intersection. Rich poor...etc.

On The Steps

I saw this couple sitting on the steps of the U. T. Building on 6th street.

Down the Hill

Point Reyes National Seashore dairy cows. Its fun to watch them in this hilly landscape. In the south one usually sees livestock on flat terrain.

Building Tops Greenville

This a study in values for me. I'm dissecting an image and painting portions of it in anticipation of painting a larger piece. I took this shot from a side street about 6 blocks down from the courthouse. My mom was driving and she stopped to let me take the photos. Greenville, Texas really is a beautiful little town. I think I will set up the gear one day downtown and just paint. Adds new meaning to painting the town.
