Sunset Over Ocean

This is my impression of the sun setting over the ocean on September 2. I was standing on the balcony of our hotel room.

On The Way

I like to exercise my brain by painting the landscape as it flashes by in a car. I take a mental picture and paint it on an ACEO trading card ground. I then explore that mental snapshot in larger watercolors, pastels, oil and graphite drawings.

Inspired by Fog

I was searching for a painting to show to a client yesterday and came upon yet another painting of this tree from a few years back. This is this years version with it surrounded by fog. I was experimenting with the new Arches paper for oil paints.

Relic At China Camp

For my birthday Pam took me over to China Camp State Park to paint. This was the warm up painting for the day.

Tammy My Sister

Tammie had worked a long day but still came by to hang out with me and the family. We try to always enjoy one another.

Jug Handle Panoramic

Pam gave be a gift card from Dick Blick's for my birthday. I have to go by that store each visit. I bought two panoramic watercolor blocks and some square format watercolor blocks for this trips paintings.
